Well, just when we thought the rain might finally be letting up, Mother Nature had one more surprise for us!

Tomorrow, Monday, November 2 – BOTH COURSES ARE CLOSED

Both the Lakes and Vistas Courses will remain CLOSED for the entire day on Monday, November 2, due to significant flooding and saturated course conditions.

We've now received more than 2 inches of rain, an incredible amount for our area in such a short period. As many of you have probably seen on the news, flooding has become a widespread problem throughout much of Arizona.

We know this is frustrating, especially with our winter season and Semi-Annual unlimited play having just begun. Believe me, we're just as anxious as you are to get everyone back on the golf courses.

The Good News – Better Weather Ahead!

The forecast is finally giving us something to look forward to!

• Monday, November 2: Sunshine returning, with a high around 73°F.
• Tuesday, November 3: Mostly sunny and warmer, with temperatures approaching 78°F.

Of course, sunny skies don't necessarily mean dry golf courses.

Once this storm passes, our Grounds Crew will be working on both courses Monday to address the flooding, assess conditions, and help get everything ready for play. 

Our hope is to have the courses ready to reopen Tuesday, November 3, but that will depend on how quickly the water recedes and the turf recovers. The Lakes, in particular, still has relatively young overseeded turf that we need to be careful with and substantial flooding in low lying areas.

We'll continue evaluating conditions and keep everyone informed about Tuesday's play as soon as we have a better picture.

Another Rain Day Sale – Both Golf Shops!

Since we can't offer you golf on Monday, we figured we might as well offer you some good deals instead!

Both Golf Shops will have staff on hand Monday, and we're continuing our Rain Day Sale!

Another Cleveland/Srixon Demo & Fitting Day – Thursday, November 5

We also have another Cleveland/Srixon Demo & Fitting Day scheduled for this Thursday, November 5, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Vistas.

There are still fitting appointments available, and you can reserve your time online.

Cleveland/Srixon also welcomes walk-up demos if you just want to stop by and try some equipment. Please keep in mind that scheduled fitting appointments will receive priority, so we recommend reserving a time if you're interested in a personal fitting. There are still plenty remaining!

Thank You for Your Patience

We realize this isn't the start to November that anyone had hoped for. The courses were coming along nicely following overseed, and unfortunately, we've received more water than they can handle all at once.

Our Grounds Crew has a lot of work ahead of them, and I want to thank them for their continued efforts through these unusually challenging conditions.

We also appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. We're doing everything we can to get both courses back open without causing damage that could affect the rest of our winter season.

Hopefully, this will be the last closure announcement for a while!
