Mother Nature certainly isn't holding back today!

Two brief but intense bursts of rain this morning brought nearly ½ inch of rainfall in approximately 10 minutes, resulting in significant water accumulation on the Vistas Course.

Today's Course Status

• Vistas Course: Closed due to heavy rainfall and flooding.
• Lakes Course: Remains closed for the last day of their overseed schedule.

As a reminder, our courses serve as catch basins for the surrounding communities. This means we are receiving not only the rain falling directly on the courses, but also substantial runoff from surrounding areas.

Looking Ahead to Saturday

Unfortunately, the forecast calls for additional showers and thunderstorms throughout today, with the possibility of more heavy rainfall.

While Saturday's forecast looks much better, reopening will depend on how much additional rain we receive and how quickly the courses drain.

If conditions allow us to reopen Saturday, both courses will be CART PATH ONLY. However, if additional heavy rainfall causes significant flooding or leaves the courses too saturated for play, one or both courses may need to remain closed.

Our grounds team will continue evaluating conditions, and we will keep you updated as the weather progresses and we have a clearer picture of Saturday's course availability.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Hopefully, Mother Nature gets all of this out of her system today!
